I know I haven’t blogged in some time, but bear with me. This quarter is heavy with homework and other things like laundry have been piling up recently, so I had no time to blog. On the other hand, this means I have a lot to talk about and this is going to be a long post :P

Well, firstly, some good news: I bought a lovely 32″ widescreen tv to play my Wii on. I also use it as a huge monitor. Wonderful for playing games on.

Last Sunday the whole floor went out for the Computer Science House holiday dinner to a glamorous, expensive restaurant. Naturally, we all had to wear formals. I must say, the food really sucked, but then all food here does – the reason being spices, or lack thereof. Man, I can’t wait to get my own apartment so I can cook these poor folks some proper chicken and shatter their blissful ignorance…

Anyway, the dessert – lemon ice – was pretty good, it was the only thing worth treading in the snow with a suit on. After the dinner, we had Secret Santa which is where we open our gifts (we sign up weeks in advance and assigned a person) after having given each other gag gifts etc. It was fun, or at least an amusing way to spend time.

Yeah yesterday was ok too, watched the movie “Office Space”. It was quite the comdedy and definitely recommended to all who are interested in any kind of cubicle comedy, though this one barely fits that bill, as innovative as it is.

Today was fine too, missed a 10 am class because I had stayed up late yesterday doing homework. Also, didn’t feel like going. There is no attendance in that class, and it is computer science anyway.

Got a 47/55 on a calculus test. I hated the score, I could’ve done better for sure. Then I heard it was the highest. Made me pity my idiotic classmates, it did.

Anyway, though I have more time, I would rather spend it entertaining myself than writing my blog :)

I’ve been pretty busy with homework n all lately, and haven’t exactly got much time right now either.

I’ll try to post whenever I get a breather, which probably won’t be often.

This song is from the game portal, after you go through all the puzzles and kill the computer GlaDOS at the end. (Meant to be sung by a supposedly dead GlaDOS lol)

Also of note are the facts that you were promised cake which was foreshadowed to be a lie by events in the game.

All in all, the game was worth beating if only for this song…

Typical today

Didn’t do much today, simply didn’t get the chance to. Last night’s late night capers saw me getting up at 1 p.m. today, just in time to make it class all showered and dressed…shit, I forgot to brush lol. Well, nevermind, learnt some discrete math, followed by some fun philosophy. I have a feeling I am going to enjoy thursdays most of all weekdays because 1)I get to sleep in, and 2)No damn calculus.

Yes, calc is fun but sometimes it gets extremely tedious. Something like philosophy on the other hand is way more fun – I get to listen to FUN HISTORY (not an oxymoron) all class long and then pass the tests/exams by way of writing down utter B.S. mixed in with what little I might have accidentally remembered from the lectures.

And yeah, I’m finally getting to change rooms, leaving Ari behind and moving in with Chris. He’s a nice guy who might get annoying sometimes (hope I’m wrong), but I don’t think he can be anywhere near as loud as Ari. Also he will hopefully have his shirt on most of the time, although Ari’s frequent toplessness wasn’t really a cause for bother – on second thoughts, it was mildly disturbing.

So after calc I had dinner and did random stuff right up to now, wasn’t able to watch much of “One Piece” or practice japanese or practice drawing; but that’s okay if you can get your homework done (which I didn’t).

Anyway, I’d rather listen to music now than type extra nonsense in here.
