Today, I woke up feeling pretty well after a 3-day period of illness-due-to-throat-infection. First thing I wanted to do was check my mail. Sadly, windows disagreed with me. All went well upto the Windows XP startup screen, after which there was an inexplicable restart – same story in safe mode.

I am currently using my laptop while Windows is reinstalled. I had to format my C: drive because according to the installation wizard “The disk is corrupted and cannot be restored”. On top of that, I lost my CD key and had to call up my uncle for it. Oh well, at least I won’t have to put up with the “This copy of windows is not genuine” message.

Went to DPS Noida for the E-spice symposium. Team mate for web-design was Sahil Bajaj, someone I seem to know due to our common bus route in the past. Our design was fine, but we were unable to complete the customary seven pages, like everyone else. I doubt we will win anything – I might have known perhaps if lnexun didn’t refuse to open so.

My cousins from the US of A are going home today. I shall not be going to drop them at the airport because of what happened yesterday, which is too long a story to be told here.
