With the imminent release of WordPress 2.8 at hand, I find myself absolutely terrified of the possibilities. Although I welcome the improvements this new release will undoubtedly bring, my blog theme is in danger of deprecation, as are many of the hacks I’ve made to the WordPress core to make this website what it is today.
Every time I upgrade, there is always something that breaks completely. Then there’s that odd bug that I discover weeks later, and then get pissed off at the fact that it was there all along for everyone to see. Nevertheless, usually the improvements and freshness of a new version is worth all that trouble. I just hope all my plugins still work after I upgrade.
In other news, I just installed Photo Dropper. It claims to make inserting relevant pictures into blog posts easier, and I’ve tried to use it in this post. Do let me know what you think of it.

On this blog, its really interesting! I didn’t know Wordpress 2.8 was coming. That’s pretty interesting… but it is scary at the same time, I can agree with that, for sure because every time I upgrade, there IS a problem. :/ Hopefully the best is unleashed.
