Every once in a while, you stumble across masterpieces so amazing, it looks like at least a lifetime went into their making. This applies especially to pixel art, where the artist must arguably touch upon every single pixel.
Today I’m going to feature five examples of incredibly large pixel art scenes. Each artwork is credited to either their creators’ website or to where I found them. I encourage you to visit my sources and convey your appreciation for their work.
Art by LovePixel
Art from PixelJoint
Art by Paul Stride-Noble
Art by Grapheine
Art by Blind Ice
These awesome creations are only a small section of the amazing genre that is pixel art. I will be featuring more pixel artwork later, as well as other kinds of digital and traditional art. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to let me know in the comments.
Wow… this layout is absolutely incredible!
I love pixel art too, thanks for posting those :D It’s a shame I’m so terrible at pixel art myself, haha.
You should make a post about where you get your inspiration from, art wise, when working on a design. I would seriously love to see how your brain ticks when it comes to making something like this website!
I’m not too good at pixel art myself, at least I don’t think so after looking at these examples. Heh.
I would love to show you how I design my websites, but that will have to wait till I have more time so that I can make it a quality post. :)
Wow, I would actually love to see some games made with art like that. The last one is different from your usual pixel art, but I would love to see that one in action!
And at least you actually feel inspired to make a good quality post!
Do you find all of these artists at DeviantArt? Do you ever go anywhere else?
Hey Brian, only the last artist I featured was on DeviantArt. So yes, I do go elsewhere sometimes, the StumbleUpon addict that I am. :D
